anyway i decided to go all the way down on the coilovers, the only way to go lower is to take out the assistor spring

also i dont know where the thermostat housing is still lol

can you not fit one of the widow makers under there? My heart sunk when I had to phone a mate for him to come round and lift my arch so I could put the standard jack under my polo. For me to wind it up 4inches to put a trolley jack under, just to do a poxy oil change!

dunno yet, looking at 14x8 and 14x9s Steffan BCW's and Borbet T's, dont know if they're fit over the brakes, i think they might

borbet t's are the way forward, iv been looking into them for a while now and i even photo chopped them onto my ibiza.
what kind of offset would be needed on a set of borbets, what spacers do they require?

all i can say is bring on the purple Euro slags!

easiest thing to do (I got told by the RAC man when they were doing a fanbelt on my polo - was stuck in Brighton with no tools!) is apparently to go to a caravan place. They should have some small stands that you roll a caravan's wheels onto to stop it sinking. Are apparently about 2.5" high or thereabouts. Was contemplating buying some and trying them but never got round to it!

RAC bloke said a lot of the people carry them around so they can get a jack underneath bespoke and stupidly low cars!
