for the time bieng (until the engine work is finished) the pimp rims have gone, sold them and the Adaptors so i'm on the stock alloys atm:

anyway i decided to go all the way down on the coilovers, the only way to go lower is to take out the assistor spring

thats real nice mate, do the backs rub? ...ur gansta rims still look nicer, this this has that sporty look to it. whens u think its all gna be complete?

dunno bout the completion, april time ish i reckon (unless i pass my retakes and get into uni = student loan) or it'll be before christmas for sure

it corners so much better like this and doesnt rub at all :D

can you not fit one of the widow makers under there? My heart sunk when I had to phone a mate for him to come round and lift my arch so I could put the standard jack under my polo. For me to wind it up 4inches to put a trolley jack under, just to do a poxy oil change!

it wont mate already tried that, puts a smile on my face but is also a pain in the arse

for entertainment i go to kwik fit and see if they can get it on the ramps

Nearly as low as mine used to be :)

Dont you think its wierd how the purple ones dont scrub......they must be special!!

borbet t's are the way forward, iv been looking into them for a while now and i even photo chopped them onto my ibiza.
what kind of offset would be needed on a set of borbets, what spacers do they require?

all i can say is bring on the purple Euro slags!

easiest thing to do (I got told by the RAC man when they were doing a fanbelt on my polo - was stuck in Brighton with no tools!) is apparently to go to a caravan place. They should have some small stands that you roll a caravan's wheels onto to stop it sinking. Are apparently about 2.5" high or thereabouts. Was contemplating buying some and trying them but never got round to it!

RAC bloke said a lot of the people carry them around so they can get a jack underneath bespoke and stupidly low cars!
