Very very cool,,,

why did you narrow the front beam btw? what make is the new gearbox? [and how much did you pay for it if you don't mind?]

Where do they put the radiator when they fit watercooled engines? under the car or what?

beam narrowed as i was putting on discs and it adds 1/2 inch on each side so got a 2 inch narrowed beam to take it back out.The gearbox is a rancho pro street box i got it from them when i was over in california last year $825 i paid i think as for how do the rad here are a few quick pics of one that is a race car as such so 2.2 subaru engine then cooler up front in the spare wheel place.

Thanx,,,

The problem with the rad is that these cars have no front grille so you put it up the front but there ain't that much air flowing there I guess,,,

This is the problem that the guys who tune old fiat 500s around here have,,, one VERY ingenious solution I've seen is putting 3 small rads from bikes under the car,,, it might be quite dangerous because of bumps and holes but the guy told me he never had problems so who knows,,,

that 500 had a tuned 1.2 liter fiat engine from a punto sporting in it,,, it had 110hp which in such a small car was good enough to make it fly,,,

How did you bore out the block to take it to 2300cc? it seems from some pics of your car I've seen, that there is a sort of small block for each cylinder did you just changed that?

it is a vw engine case bord out for an 84mm crank and 94mm barrels and pistons and that gives you 2332cc long block.fiat 500 are great the best thing to is put a vw engine like mine in the like this one of my mates this thing gets the front wheels of the ground its quick let me tell ya.

did you change the crankshaft too? [I don't know the original stroke of that engine] and what was the original displacement?
Can you confirm it's four separated blocks, one for each cylinder or am I wrong?

is it the same 2332cc??? in a 500? OMFG!!

as for getting air to the rad this helps

Yeah but it looks awful,,, other solutions are coming to my mind,,, hehe

ok a normal crank is 69mm and mine is 84mm and its a brand new engine case just machined out for the crank and yes 4 pistons still a flat 4 mtr just all internals are bigger and better and stronger.the mtr in the fiat is 2180cc if you look in this club website should give you a bit of help and the guy that owns the fiat builds the engines for alot of us.www.lbc2.com/
