Thought i'd share some pics and the spec of my Arosa.
I bought it accidentally on ebay when a sporadic saturday night bid went wrong! still for £920 it wasnt a bad win to be honest.
It was in a **** state when i got it, slowly but surely i've minted it up though.
This is after i'd sorted most of the cosmetic bits out.
The front end was hanging off so i had the bumper painted and colour coded and purchased a new set of headlights which i fitted when i repaired the shody work of others.
I sourced some new wheel to house the 280mm golf VR6 brakes in the form of some vauxhall corsa 15" steels (Yes i had them on my Arosa before Darkside Developments!
) and wrapped them in Falken Tyres.
I fitted a set of gauges, golf heater controls, starter button and a cup holder/coin tray
I ordered a set of polybushes from powerflex in the form of their new "black series" which perform well but have no give in them
When i came to remove the old arms to fit the new polybushed ones i found that the previous people who had been looking after the car had damaged the captive nut in the chassis leg then cut a hole and used filled to disguise the carnage, nob heads![Furious [:@] [:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif)
So i repaired the captive nut and welded the chassis back up
The box was also getting a bit crunchy so i fitted a stage one balck diamond clutch and some millers fully synthetic gear oil which cured the issue and works well.
I also filled the dog bone mount and left it in the fridge to cure for a couple of days
Once it was fitted it ruined any comfort left when the engine was running and shook the car quite harshly so it put a new standard one back on.
Picture of the bay once i was happy with it
And one of the red TDI badge
I removed the universal wipers in favour of some lupo GTI AEROs
Miles better i'm sure you'll agree
This is how it stood for there on
Once all the work was done and i was happy i took it out for a blip one night on a strip of private road (
) and snapped this little beauty before heading home, quickly.
I know a couple of guys who run an up and coming body modification company specialising in embosed wraps so i had them wrap the bonnet for the time being then once the spoiler is on they're going to wrap the roof/spoiler and i might consider a coulour change to Matt Lime Green
Here's the wrap complete with Seat badge
The badge
They also wrapped the top of my tool box
The pictures dont do it justice but their work is spot on!
If you fancy a wrap or an imbossed wrap with a logo or emblem of your choice get in touch with EDGY DESIGNS - Check out some more of their work here!!!
