My Toledo Rear-ended Buy A Silly Lunatic

Some idiot ran in to my car @ around 3.45am on 28/01/06.
I was driving my oh so lovely toledo Y reg 1.8se northbound of on the M1 (junction 7) motorway when all of a sudden about 250 metres in front there was a serious accident with lots of car-bits scattered accross the three lanes.
I was doing about 80mph (looked i my rear view mirror and saw nothing) so i slowed down to 55mph to go over the debris.
After going over the debris i downshifted my car into 3rd gear to buld up speed rapidly but as i hit 65mph i heared a loud bang from behind which shook my car. I looked in my rear view mirror but saw nothing. Then a few seconds later i saw a car behind me with only one light working and the otherside busted. @ this stage i realised this guy driving a nissan primera (silver S reg) was the one how hit me.

i was quite luky he never pushed me into a fish-tail to cause me to spin as in the American police chase videos.
or even worse cause me to flip-roll. Thanks to God for providing me with 17 inch ABT alloys, continental pro-sport rubbers to go with and my 30mm EIBACHS sport springs.

if i do it on insurance i'll be looking @£2500 but a private back street slap stick filla job will be the best part of £1200.

MY WORST NIGHTMARE IS THAT THE GUY MIGHT NOT BE INSURED.
What can i do.
The car still drives but sags when i corner a bit hard to the right as if the tyre on the left side steers a bit.

sorry to see the damage, i was equally as gutted when white van man hit Vick's Ibiza parked outside our house.

how come you think he's not insured?

possibly write off if the chassis leg is bent, but they've repaired worse on cheaper cars - that's a mear scuff in comparison to some stuff

im still waiting to get his policy number.
the car does drive a bit funny now when i try to steer to the right at roundabouts and corners.

i bought the car with 42k miles but its now on 49k miles now.

i'll do that as soon as possible.
the funniest thing is that i had spent alot modifying the car.
i put those expensive alloys with Eibach springs, angel eyes, i got leather seats from the 2.3 v5 but i havent fitted the seats yet.
if i had fitted the seats i would have strangled him on the spot for all my blood an sweat that went into building that car.
