Back in 2014, I've passed my driving test, got my driving license, and then first car. My girlfriend saw Ibiza first time somewhere, don't really remember where, took on her advice and bought one. I don't regret it.
Car : SEAT IBIZA 1.2S
Year : 2002
Milage : 93,000
Colour :METALLIC BLACK
Price : £1200
Pictures as the car was bought.
Mods done so far:
Some cheap modification straight from the first day, as you can see, Steering wheel cover and gear gaiter in red stitching, new Sony USB radio and Audi Exclusive S-Line mats.
Next up was to respray Heaters insert rings to a red colour, it was little tricky, had to do it twice as I didn't clean them properly the first time. (Will know in the future
)
This is how it looked like
Then once redone and fitted
Fitting parking sensors, not really needed as it's small car but would you not install it if it's only 15£? As I have to admit this is my first car, I try to experiment on it, I've blown few reverse light fuses while doing this, my mate had to do it for me in the end.
Debadging the rear Ibiza, replacing it with FR badge, added front grille FR badge and side pillars FR.
Replaced side lights for LED, LED indicators,LED white license plate bulbs, and Osram Nightbreakers Plus H4 bulbs.
New armrest installed
Saturday's deep cleaning of the interior, removed all seats, deep cleaned the carpets and seats with Autoglym upholstery cleaner, looks clean and fresh.
Decided to change the old steering wheel cover for something more tailored. Removal of steering wheel, was again a little bit tricky, learned a lot from this, battery reconnecting, ended up with Airbag Light On, and wheel alignment

Wanted my steering wheel to look like a racing wheel so electrical tape was taped in the middle, ended up throwing it away as it was distracting me a lot
Next I have decided to tint my rear lights, bought wrong tint off ebay very dark and very sticky.
It actually ended up looking really nice.
Next mod on the list was removing front grille with SEAT badge, interior door handles, trims, parts and respraying it to metallic black colour, the rear boot badge still needs to be resprayed but couldn't really be bothered with removing whole boot trim.
Rear light were replaced, as I have decided to take the tint off the lights and ended up with the glass piece cover seperated from the lights. I wanted to change the rear lights anyway.
Got the lights imported from Taiwan, if you like them and want to know where I bought them from I will be more than happy to share this secret with you.
As these are LHD, the reverse and fog light is other way around, some cabling and reconnecting still needs to be done to make it work.
My favourite picture of all
Few weeks ago I have found Ibiza FL bumper on ebay for only £50, had to buy it, still didn't have time/money to respray it but eventually this will be done soon.
More pictures coming, as I still own the car, will be updating this post. Thank You
