I would be really interested to kmow where this information comes from. Surely it is several months too early for MY2015 changes to be announced or implemented and also I can't find anything at all about any future changes to the Leon range or about MY2015 on SEAT UK's website, brochures or price lists.

VAG model year changes are implemented around week 22. So if anything I'm surprised we didn't hear earlier. It's one of the things I look at when ordering a car. You don't want to pay for something now standard or miss out on something deleted.

First deliveries of MY15 cars will be end of June/beginning of July.

I got a MY11 mk2 Leon first week of July 2010.

ACT switches off 2 cylinders when not under load for extra economy. It's already being used in the new Ibiza FR, and is in the Golf GT. It's still 140PS though, not 150.

Hi uncle, I believe there is a power boost to 150 as part of Euro6 'redesign' as well....
I would buy this new 1.4 ACT without hesitation!!!! :D
I have been driving the Golf GT ACT on and off for over a year and it's freaking awesome

Is there any chance that the heated windscreen will become an option? Its available on other VAG cars and such a good idea!

This is what I was sent by my local dealer the other day. I'm looking at a Leon ST 1.4T FR so was very interested to hear about the new engine:

Standard equipment
- FR versions with DSG transmission will now have steering wheel gearshift paddles as standard

Options
There’s a selection of new options for the Leon. Check the new option prices for MY15 above for more information:

- Black Pack (SE and FR only): includes black wrapped roof and black door mirrors (£375 RRP). Not available with the new 1.2 TSI 110PS or 1.4 TSI ACT engines or on Leon ST or with Phantom black paint

- Sports Styling Pack (SE and FR only): formerly a Dealer-fit option, the pack includes sports styled front bumper, rear bumper with diffuser, body coloured side skirts, rear spoiler and dual exhaust pipes (£2,750 RRP). The pack is only available with the following colours: Emocion Red, White, Nevada White, Phantom Black and Ice Silver. It is not available with the optional adaptive cruise control

- Dynamic pack (FR trim only; standard on Cupra): includes Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), progressive steering and Media System Plus (£1,300 RRP)
- DCC is an active suspension damping system, constantly monitoring the road surface and adapting the suspension dampers to deliver the best ride. This system can also be configured by the driver to either ‘Sport’ or ‘Comfort’
- Progressive steering varies the driver’s steering wheel input, based on the vehicle’s speed – this leads to a more responsive steering feel at all speeds

Engines
- The 1.2 TSI 105PS and 1.4 140PS engines are discontinued and replaced with EU6 compliant alternatives. The rest of the engine range is already EU6 compliant
- The 1.2 TSI 105PS is uprated to 110PS and will continue to be available in the S and SE versions. The CO2, 0-62mph and combined fuel consumption figures are all unchanged
- The 1.4 TSI 140PS engine currently available on both the SE and FR trims will be discontinued and replaced as below:
- Leon SE: new 1.4 TSI 125 PS
- Leon FR: new 1.4 TSI 150PS ACT (active cylinder shutdown technology)

Code:
1.4 SE and FR 1.4 SE 1.4 ACT FR
Status Discontinued New New
Power 140PS 125PS 150PS
Combined mpg (ST) 54.3 (53.3) 54.3 (53.3) 60.1 (58.9)
CO2 g/km (ST) 119 (122) 120 (123) 109 (112)
BIK tax band 16% (17%) 17% (17%) 14% (15%)

Thanks for the above.

Good to see the body kit is now factory fit according to the above.

Didn't realise the 1.2 had a refresh too.

Making the DSG paddles standard is sensible. Was a bit cheeky making them an option on the top trim level.

I'm assuming the second 1.4 (125PS) is still none UK?

I'm glad I got the 1.4 140ps SE when I did.

Now it means that if you want a reasonably sporty petrol you are forced to buy the FR spec. The reason I didn't buy the FR was that I didn't like the harder ride (well, at least my wife didn't!).

I can see Seat's logic with this. It will be interesting to see if the 150ps diesel becomes a FR only option. Basically you now have three choices. Basic SE, sporty FR and lunatic Cupra. It makes sense.

Talking of lunatic options, have you seen the two new VAG concepts. The 400hp Golf and now the 2.5litre A3 with 2.5 TSI with 516hp.

Interesting times - I want one!

That's some great info, thanks!

However does anyone know if there are going to be any changes or new options available for the Cupra in the UK? (Other than availability of the bucket seats of course)

Looking to order at the end of the month, just wondering if there's anything else new to be looking out for.

Just rang dealer as I have a company car on order with the styling kit. Ordered middle of last month but the kit is being fitted at the factory. ( probs thats why its going to take 12 weeks for delivery)

He said the front bumper isn't inluded in the kit but it is listed above , to be honest he didn't even know you could get the front bumper so I gueass my car will or wont turn up with it on , kind of prefer the original one anyway. The order was placed before the new release details so probably wont.

The bumper on the configurator is an astonishing £1499 on its own + £2499 for the rest of the kit.
But the new price seems to make the full kit £2750 all in.
