N249 delete?

Keep reading that people have done this...any links with how tos and the pros and cons of carrying this mod out? All replies appreciated...im thinking of doing this on the wifes MK2 2001 AWC engined Alhambra 1.8 20V T btw

Thanks for your pointer...i was searching N249 delete which bought up nothing...searched just N249 and N249 bypass and found the info and pics i was looking for (albeit the location of some of the components in the Alhambra are well hidden compared to the Leon)
