N75j Boost valve

Hi wondering if anyone can help. I have purchased a K03s turbo off a good friend for my partners seat ibiza cupra and was advised to also get whe fitting and before mapping a N75j boost control valve to enable more boost.

However when in the dealers asked a mate what he thinks and he says is not a good idea. He advised me that he has a golf gti anniversary edition and has tried the N75j valve. The gains of the valve were good but after a week the car went into limp mode. He then tried a N75h valve which again had gains but caused limp mode after a couple of weeks.

Has anyone got any experience of fitting one of these valves and having this problem?

Hi, have a look in the TTS Roadsport section on here, there is two old threads (look for ecs N75 Race valve) one in the sticky section and one further down, both may give you the info you are after or at least help a bit.

ive fitted an n75j about a week ago, also got gains and had no limp mode yet. it one of those things mate, it can work well on some car but bad on others, evryones runnings different maps so hard to get a "yes get one" its just a shot in the dark
