need help finding a gearbox.............

Hi i need a gear box for my 99 mk2 ibiza 1.4's but im struggling to find one i was wondering if anyone knows of a breakers or salvage yard that mite have one???? any help much appreciated

had the one replaced in my old ibiza not too long back, got through a garage but i know it was a breakers in nottingham thats all

i'm looking for a box for mine atm mate, so i know there an absolut tw*t to come buy, i've been quoted no less the 4ton for a rekon one.

There's is 2 1.4 salsa's in a scrapyard in Scun.thorpe never noticed if gearboxes were there though although i could find out if you like?

I paid something like 100 for mine aswell so id work on that being a reasonable price

I would use that 24/7 spares thing aswell. Ive used it a few times and have been impressed with the responses you get and how fast you get them.

yeah i used that 24/7 spares, and the geezer who rang me quoted me 495 for a rekon box!!!! a bit to pricey for me. i'm definetly thinking maybe a mondeo is the way forward...
