Need advice ASAP regarding exhaust fitting

sorry to bring this up from the depths, but quick fit have decided to replace my whole exhaust D/P all the way back including the cat! free of charge mind you.

well my problem is they want to remove the front subframe as the exhaust will not fslide between the car and the sub frame when fitted.
(they want the car for a full day or two

they honestly must be having a giraffe. for any of you lot that have exhausts please tell me that you dont have to remove the subframe.

im quite tempted to just ask for the money back and get a decent SS exhaust instead.

what should i do ?!?!?!?!

sorry dude- legally you don't have any rights at all cos you didn't make the contract, the previous owner did.

couldn't hurt to try it but they'd be within their rights to tell you to get stuffed

Yup, even kwik fit's lifetime warranty is original owner specific.

when i replaced my down pipe i dropped the subframe... made it a hell of a lot easier!! its no big deal!

well lads. kwik SH*T replaced my whole exhaust today and im very unhappy. my airbag light has come on and wont go off, (basically its a fault)

the manager of kwik fit after a bit of talking too said he accepted all responsability for what has happened as long as a proper diagnosis shows up that it was something they directly did. So off to Kings seat in portsmouth i go. book it in and wait. 1 hour later i am told that the slip ring has been broken on the steering coloum and it was directly related to what kwikfit did.
i got the manager from seat to phone kwikfit's manager directly to explain exactly what has happened. the manager at kwikfit accepts liability and will pay me to get the car fixed.

to end the waffle of above, kwik fit have given me a complete new exhaust +3 yrs warrentee (SP) and they are going to have to fork out another £263 to get this slip ring fixed :|. I bet they arnt happy! well im not!

i might try and sell this exhaust and get a new one as i cant be F**** with kwikfit anymore

yeah sell it on ebay!! and buy a new one, just don't say it is from kwikfit lol
