New acquisition dilemma

I bought a cheap Cordoba TDI 130 sport, must be an import, as clocks in Kms.
Car has been laid up a long long time, brakes were seized, but that is now sorted.
The car has covered 118k Kms 68k miles, the timing belt was done at 99 k along with the water pump in 2008!, It looks ok, but I am worried it will have degraded while sitting.
Other problem is when I changed the oil, the sump plug was loose, i have found out it will not tighten fully, and spins near the sweet point.
What should I do? do it up or let loose, I bought it cheap at £700.
It has a full years test, and is in good condition for the year

I'd definately do the cambelt and waterpump. An oil change won't hurt it if it's been sitting for that long. Helicoil the sump thread while changing the oil?

I did the oil change, but I may just run it a while, and change it again, and get sump plug sorted

I remember that at every oil change VW need a new sump plug, is this not also the case with the rest of the VW/AUDI group.?

Think the service guide just says replace the crush washer for the Leon MK2. But for the sake of the extra 80p or so, I always get a new sump plug anyway. I can imagine for a garage, that'd add up over a year though.
