New Aerial For Leon MK1?

Im looking to get a shorter aerial for my Leon. Would it be a straight swap for a S2000/C2 aerial..unscrew old, screw in new?
Also I dont listen to the radio at all so a new aerial would just be for looks. Any recommended aerials that look good?

Thanks

Yes mate S2000 or the C2 will screw straight in.

I ordered a C2 aerial on Saturday from Howard's Garages, Taunton who are a genuine Citroen and Peugeot parts supplier on eBay. Cost £6 and turned up today. However, have to say item is fine, but not really liking the size of it, it's tiny! Look's like Jeremy Beadle's thumb! Also, I know you said you don't listen to the radio but I do, or should I say, DID! Reception is not great.

Been searching as thinking about a S2000 aerial now. eBay can be hit or miss on fitment of aerial from what I have read on here. Some I guess must be cheap replicas. Anyway, found a Honda parts dealer online (Ling's Honda), just search for 'honda original parts'. Whilst the price of the real deal aerial is a bit steep, it does provide you with a part number if this is of use to you. Give you something to search around with.

Part number for S2000 aerial is PFKL567997.

Get a shark fin, have thought about it myself but I do listen to radio so dint bother as reviews say you don't get a decent signal, apparently some of them just screw into your old antenna base and if colour not right u can paint them

Just changed my C2 aerial for new genuine S2000 aerial today and have to say reception is really good, better than OEM one and it looks great, very slight overhang but doesn't look out of place at all. Wouldn't really notice unless you was looking for it!

BTW Part number on packet of aerial from Honda is 39151-S2H-E01.

Hey guys,

I am looking to get a short antenna like the C2 one but when I rung up Citroen he said there are 4 different ones for the C2, all around £7-10. Does anybody know the difference between them and the part number for the best one?

Am really worried about how much reception I will lose too, but I guess its just a case of buy one and try? Or is the Honda one actually better?

Cheers

I heard there's cheap knock offs on ebay though. would prefer to buy a proper one to make sure I get the best signal I can

Is the S2000 one any better for signal? Just want a shorter aerial, don't really mind which

There will be no difference in signal between the shorter ones, both will be dog shiiittee, i have the C2 one fitted, went from okay reception to poop. But then I fitted a signal booster with it and bobs your uncle, super good now and looks schweet. I just typed in C2 Genuine Aerial and got my one, about £8 delivered.
