New Cupra 280 owner

Just a quick introduction. Picking up my first Seat tomorrow from an Astra Sri. Feels like Christmas. Looking forward to being a part of the community.

Welcome to SCN, very nice first SEAT, I started with a Biza GTI back in 1996 and had several Biza Cupras till my current Cupra 280. It is a great car standard, but can be a beast (see the oldboys readers ride) with a bit of modding if you are into that. You should enjoy anyway.

So today is the day, I can only imagine it was like when I picked up my MK2 Leon Cupra R. Best day ever haha (don't tell the wife).

You'll have to get some pictures up when you get it and had a little play! There's a few things to get done to make your life a little better but being a 280 I'd hope it has PS4S's all round and the lower engine mount already done lol

We have a local meet in Doncaster on 1st September if that's something you'd like to attend I can drop you the link, got 20 cars going so far I think and a good place to find out everything you need to know lol

Thanks for the welcome jimbobcook. Picked it up this morning and I'm in love. Unfortunately no ps4s but I will be upgrading when needing new tyres. I'm a total newb so havent a clue about the engine mount. Will be doing lots of research though.

It's a beaut of a car, mods take time lol this forum is packed full of helpful people and opinions etc but i'm sure some of the MK3 guys will be able to point you in the right direction if you have it done or not. Maybe the old owner is on here haha
