Been looking at this and am confused about the ABT pack and it’s potential availability throughout the rest of the C-A range.
After it has been available on the Cupra R ST as possibly a £500 option, there was nothing else released, to the best of my knowledge.
Can anyone shed any light as to whether this is / will be a dealership option as a retrospective upgrade on the rest of the C-A range or whether it needs to be pre ordered with a new vehicle only...or whether it will only be available for the special edition?

Currently the ABT has to be ordered and most importantly fitted prior to a new vehicle being handed over. It can't be sold and then retrospectively fitted as it isn't covered by the manufacturers warranty. As far as i'm aware at the moment it's only available on the R ST and then the new CUPRA Ateca limited edition.

Excitingly we've ordered the Graphene Grey one with Akrapovic as well [B)]

Thanks Tom. Does that count as one of the 20 gone then or can dealers order from a separate batch?

Interesting the ABT module is still being pushed with recent discussions I've seen on here... Also interesting that the 0-62 figures are unchanged and you gain a few top end mph.

I've just had the following response from SEAT:

"This can upgrade can be bought with the vehicle from a SEAT retailer at the point of purchase or added after market by the customer.

If a customer ordered a CUPRA Ateca Limited Edition, it would be built as a ‘normal Limited Edition mode’ and then when it arrives in the UK, the upgrade is added by Richter Sports in Bletchley.

This protects the warranty of the vehicle.

ABT upgrade can be added to any vehicle aftermarket, however it’s only on the Limited Edition model that it can be purchased via the retailer."

That’s really Interesting news thankyou. It is certainly a worthy option if you want to have a remap straight away and keep your warranty intact.
Any ideas if this will still be the £500 as mentioned or is that an incentive price on a new car purchase?

I'd suggesting asking Richter Sports directly, as it should be the same as the Leon CUPRA R ST. I'd expect that's a discounted price though.

ABT added to any vehicle means any 'CUPRA' line vehicle made of late?

Here's the response from SEAT:

ABT can be added to any vehicle after market, however the customer would need to discuss it with SEAT UK to confirm warranty retention.

Why so expensive over there? You're paying $NZ88,000 for an LE with the Akrapovic system, mine was listed at $78900 plus ORC and I got 3 years interest free finance and a free towbar. That's the equivalent of $7000 off list.
All 5 we got were sold in a couple of weeks, I grabbed the last one.
