¡Hola!
A quick not to say hello - I bought my Cupra in January and I love it!
It lives in the mountains in Spain here with me and has its own accommodation (it's simply garaged, it doesn't live in a fully fitted, carpeted apartment - but it keeps it off the streets at night [unless I am around to supervise]).
The car has the Panoramic roof, the Convenience Pack, Bi-Xenon headlights, hill-hold control and the Bluetooth/USB/AUX pack. It was registered in January 2012 and had 50km on the clock when I bought it. The showroom pictures sold it for me - I downloaded them (there's a copy here.*** I had to drive 1000km, taking about 13 hours, in my trusty Hundai Getz 1.5 diesel to collect it. The next day, after an overnight stay in a hotel, I drove the Cupra home but at least it was just about run in by the time I got it back.
About me - I'm 57 and I retired 6 years ago. I like walking, swimming, photography, computers, driving and good food and wine. I used to drive a mod'd Mitsubishi 3000GT twin turbo and I thought that was fun. It was wicked in a straight line but awful on the curves (it didn't do bends at speed - just curves). This was despite it being 4-wheel steer (as well as 4wd). The roads where I live now don't have many curves - more like hairpins, which is where the Cupra comes into its own. As for the AFS headlights - wow! I thought that was just a gimmick, but no - really good, really useful.
My only gripe/problem is that the battery doesn't stay charged after 4 days, and the Spanish guarantee excludes all consumables like tyres, wiper blades and of course the battery. (Consumer protection here is just like it was(n't) in England in 1970).
I'm off to scour the posts now to see if I can find which VAGCOM or VCDS cable I need!
*** Just seen that I can't post a link to the photos until I've made 15 posts.
Sorry..... This is No.1 anyway
