hi all.
well I'm not new to seat of VW and had many 1.8t and cant get enough.
so I decided to buy another and spend some cash on making this one to keep, not like all my previous just run about daily uses.
I have a 2004 seat leon Cupra 1.8t auq.
so I bought this totally standard with no mods at all very clean but with no paper work other than a full v5 drives great no lights on dash.
so I went to work full service all filters and oil change and some nice NGK plugs.
smoke test found few leaks so replaced with new blue silicone hoses and clips.
the biggest leak was from the driver valve. replace with forge recirculating one.
few days after started a small coolant leak replaced the temp sensor and gasket cheap fix but better mpg.
I then went to replace the air box with an enlarged k and n induction filter and samco turbo induction inlet hose.
as always I went to see my good pals at Tony banks custom exhaust in Leeds.
Tony also does a great job and yet again built me turbo back custom system and boy does it sound great. aswell as replacing a lamda sensor for me.
I'm not coming to a sticking point as I'm needing all the necessary deletes doing as I really want to put a billet hybrid on it and shortly as well as many other mods.
also I have a back door lock that will not open at all and in need of replacing.
so aswell as saying hi to everyone, if you can advise on a garage that ca do the correct delete and replace my lock with out pulling my pants down that would be great.im in Leeds so anyone about??
