Right here the the plan going to install a new head unit as much as i like the standard head units sound quality my new car is just lacking abit of personal touch. The link below is possibly one of the new head units im going to install.

eonon.co.uk/2-Din-DVD-Player/D2209.html

Some of you might say "oh i have never heard of the make" but honestly i have bought off Eonon before for my first car and installed a single din tv which i have to say give my mates pionneer a run for its money especially with sound quality and quality of the product.

The big question is how do i even install it to my ibiza it looks complicated i have fitted a lot of double and single dins to cars i almost have a small busines from home at doping it but i have never done it with a car whicvh has a mouled in head unit such as the mk5 ibiza or the new corsa's.

Can anyone give me a guide how to remove the standard unit and here is the big question. Will installing this affect my warrenty i just bought the car so i have a full 3 years warrenty and really dont want to loose it.

Can anyone help please??????

Thanks

Haven't had a look into removing the stereo so can't help there I'm afraid.

Warranty will be lost for the main head unit, you will not (well shouldn't) lose warranty for the rest of the car just for changing it. As the Eonon page states you will have 2 years warranty from them if anything goes wrong

i do heard of Eonon, one of my friend recently bought D2208, he is enjoying it.
I am pretty interested in this 1 din 8 inch HU D1305 on the US website. It is not listed on UK website, dont know why.
a bit out of budget though. Pioneer is awesome, but i once heard that in Japan, there more and more people are using Eonon, car mounted with Eonon can be seen everywhere in the street or in the forum.. Really strange.

And i dont think installing this unit will affect your warrenty.
