New Ibiza Faults

Thought it might be handy to keep a record of all the faults and or niggles people have had with their cars as a resource and reference point to see if there are common design flaws/faults?

Try and include symptoms (what you noticed),
cause and what the remedy was (if you found out)
details about your car, (age when the falt cropped up, model (s/se/sport/fr/cupra/boc) and engine

1.6cr-tdi sport, 4 months old
Rattley handbrake button
Squeaky noise from steering column
Rapid speed-dependant tapping noise from front left wheel - incorrect tyre pressure

ive had the squeeky steering column on my 1.4 se (58 reg) but i think that was due to the weather as it didnt happen often

Pulling the iPhone out of the iPod cradle with the ignition on causes a massive ear jolting, trouser browning, screetch of white noise for half a second.
