Hello all

Just wondering if I could get any advice on this car my dad is thinking of getting one, he has had his fingers burnt with a fiesta diesel spent thousand or two on it and still runs like a bag of spanners, nasty pug engine, anyway he does a lot of milage and wants something reliable, also anybody tell me what the spec Chill means is it a base modal s se?

hi mate, all the ibizas are quite reliable. the chilli you are after i belive is quite a low spec.. depends what you want. obviously the less stuff on the car the less to go wrong. i actually have a 1.4 SE COPA model. it was a special edition where seat put loads of equipment inside. engine wasn't touched though just the basic 85bhp 1.4. had the car 2 years and still going great... okay i have only done 14k miles but the 1.4 i heard you can run them into the ground as they been round the whole vw/audi/seat/skoda scene for a while.

make sure the car has full service history.. whats the miles and what engine?

Thanks for your advice yes it has fsh its 1.4 26k on the mileage
