So got some bad news, due to pick up the Boc yesterday but infact supposedly someone has already sorted some finance on the car with another customer!!! ****ing fuming. Stealers at it again with ridiculous ways. How can someone who's paid a deposit on the car (me) and sorted my finance plan, and sorted payment details then be turned away because someone else has already 'bought' MY CAR?! Ridiculous!!!
Being told the other customer had put a deposit down and sorted his finance details BEFORE me but then went on holiday and they didn't hear from him?? So then they put the at back on the market and I do the same and I'm ready to pick it up and the dealer is saying I can't because the other person has returned off holiday and is picking the car up this week! When I was meant to!
Happened to me before, was going to buy a speed blue cupra, was going to travel down on the Friday night and test/buy it on the Saturday, got in the car to drive down and they phoned and said someone had walked in and bought it so they were refunding my deposit :S guess they got more profit from the other person but its still poor that they are willing to sell behind a customers back!
It's ridiculous! I'm really ticked off because I've been waiting for a decent Boc near me for nearly a year!! Find one straight away put the deposit down and now I can't have it! They've refunded the deposit and are 'Very sorry' pfft. Now I'm going to have to search AGAIN!! Nightmare!

Thanks mate, and I know I'm really gutted, I've had to hold the sale of my current car now, and now I have to go finding another Boc near my area that is worth the money! The Boc I was looking at had just under 10k on the clock and was a 60 plate for £10,499. Really disappointed
That's the exact price I got my 59 plate with 14k on the clock. Keep lookin' there's definitely some good ones kickin about!

Surely if the car was put back on the market after not hearing from the first person, its yours for the taking...thats just stupid! Hope you find a boc bud, i feel for you
Also the deposit is meant to be a "promise" you give them the £100 it whatever and they can't sell the car to anyone else!
Thanks guys, and I'm really really gutted:/ payday for me next Friday and I had the ITG induction kit on the list. And If I remember correctly from booking my last holiday, a deposit is another way of sayin it is a contract between the customer and sales person. So it really is ridiculous and to be honest feeling a little hard done by! I will be giving seat a call sometime tomorrow to maybe get some kind of compensation, or even as Lawrie said, the near enough same car/spec for the same price!!
