hi mate only go to Standish now and then, but will post you when am up there, if you want to meet :) am not a boy racer :D, as am 56 :) but you cant beat any seat cupra for looks and power:D

Alright mate, will defo meet up sometime when I'm over in wigan.
God knows when cause I've 3 kids and work silly hours but I'll keep in touch on here.
How's the new Cupra then?
Like the look of them, was never a fan of the previous shape.
I changed my mk1 Cupra diesel for a mk2 petrol Skoda Octavia vrs in 2006.
(Still have the vrs!)
Always wanted another mk1 Cupra since but needed vans and MPV's... until now. ;)
Looked at the mk2 Leon fr before buying the Skoda but I wasn't really keen on the shape of it, much to the disappointment of the dealer. Haha.

Finally got my LCR mk1 11 years later! ( still as good as I remember)
Got it booked in for a dynamo test tommorow cause I've bought it supposedly as a standard car apart from the miltek sport exhaust. But, had my local garage do a safety check on it yesterday and when he came back from road testing it he was convinced it's had something done to it cause he said it felt faster than his brand new golf R30 or whatever it is?

There will be questions asked if the test tommorow comes back with anymore than 225bhp!!!

The car is amazing runs like a dream very quick
Yea let me know when your about and we can meet up

Had the car tested on the rolling road yesterday
213 bhp!! Made up its standard ( lost a few bhp over its 12 years and 80k
But that's to be expected.)
Can't wait to tell the fella at the garage who said it seemed quicker than his new golf it's standard.

Ahh that's good news
Are you gonna time the car yourself or you wanting to keep it standard

I'll be keeping it standard. In time I might even change the miltek sport exhaust to an original one. Dealer supply only though £475+ vat so it'll be staying on for now.
Other jobs on my to do list first like getting the wheels refurbished and a couple of very minor door dents that need attention. A visit to 'the dent man' in St Helens will get rid of those hopefully.
What years your mates Cupra by the way?

The cupra is on a 17 plate brand new the 300 bhp cupra only got released about month ago.
Love it though had quite a few different cars one of my fravorate now

Nice! Grey yours is it?
Will have to get my platinum grey 55 plate Cupra R photographed with yours once I've had the wheels done and given it a good polish.
I'm going to the seat dealer in Liverpool next week to pick up a new high level brake light for
Mine so I'll have a good look at the new one... and dream!
