Hi,
Just joined the forum as I have in the last month bought a black 2006 seat leon tfsi fr. This is my first seat but not by any distance my first performance car.
I was initially on the hunt for a mk5 golf gti, but happened to stumble across the leon fr, which compared to the golf was better spec'd, alot less miles for the £££ I wanted to spend and dare I say better looking.
As with most cars I have bought over the years I sign up to a forum.
Overall Iam fairly pleased with the fr, not the quickest car I have owned given the 197bhp however it's very responsive has good midrange pull and great to drive.
Sorted out a couple of small issues to date namely reconnected the rear wiper jet hose and replaced the cigarette lighter plug. Ordered a new central locking release button from seat yesterday that should arrive tomorrow and I have applied some yellow tint to the front fog lights.
Looking forward to browsing this forum and hijacking threads
