New member. Mk1 Lcr track toy

Evening all.

This has gotta be the first proper forum post I have done in about 10 years since before Facebook killed most of them. Seems this one survived!

Just joined as I have picked up a mk1 Lcr to use as a cheap daily / track day toy.

I had a regular cupra 180 last year and loved it. I then got offered a company car so sold it and had a 2018 bmw 440i for a while.

Company car went back when I stated a new business with a friend of mine so needed a motor. Friend of mine was selling a car and offered this as a px. Its an 05 Lcr in red. Has a milltek exhaust with sports cat (unknown size) welly side mount with hard pipes, r8 coil packs and (apparently) a Revo stage 2 map. It pulls well but I have a good few plans for it.

Since picking it up I chucked a ram air filter on and some ngk iridium plugs and just enjoying it for now.

Plan for this year is to strip it and add sparco r333 seats, have the factory steering wheel retrimed in alcsntara, rear cage, brake upgrade of some sort? Team dynamics pro race 1.2 wheels, Maxton design full kit with canards and a byc wing, have the mapping redone by Badger 5 and get a decent shock / spring setup.

Its a great 10ft car but close up its rough.

Any advice, tips or suggestions feel free to throw them my way!

Firstly yes we prefer Forum to Facebook and more seem to be coming over.
Secondly being very boring in general we always say to people hide you number plate as there are guys out there who use your number plate on clone cars.
