New member, Please help

Hi guys, im new to the forum so be kind

I have just bought a Ibiza TDI 130 Sport, its had a p-torque remap. I love its awesome power delivery im very impressed. Its due its cambelt and i have the kit but there are two available for the ASZ engine, i was at VW today and they couldnt really tell me which was right.

Im just waiting for my new vag com to come and i'll begin the change, as i will need to check timing with it once ive swapped the belt.

Plus i need to get it done within 14 days or i dont get my bloddy £40 surcharge back!

So, i'll get the part numbers ive got shortly, i would just love it if you guys could tell if i have the right belt, it would be a disaster to get the old belt off and find its longer/shorter haha!!

well VW gave me

Cambelt Kit No. 038 198 119 A
With Cambelt 038 109 119 P

Looking on vagcat there are listings for a Audi A3/S3/quattro ASZ belt but im still not sure to be honest.

Is this the right belt?

Looking on VAG cat the number for the cambelt is 038109119N unless VW know more??

He did say there was two, i just want to be sure. Before i start

Ask SERE motors on here. He might just need your reg or chassis number.

You will get a great discount for the timing belt kit and water pump and money back for sending your old water pump back.

cheers mate, ive already bought it as i get trade at my vw place. rang em back with my chassis no and they confirmed it.
