New Rims (8,5Jx19-inch) Cupra ST fit?

I’m thinking about changing my rims to Japan Racing JR30’s (19-inch 8,5J). The original rims have a ET of 50.

The JR’s have an ET of 40. Anyone who can confirm they fit well with Eibach Sportlines fitted and 235/35 Michelin’s?

Thanks in advance! :)

Salut, sur mon cupra st j'ai des bola en 19x8,5 avec ET de 45 et lors de forte compression je frotte légèrement à l'avant, à voir lorsque j'aurais monté de nouveau amortisseur et ressort plus dur.

Can't comment on the clearance of brakes etc, but considering the wider rim with the same tyre, in theory tyre being stretched more should give you enough wiggle room not to foul the arch.

Thanks for your reply! :) I have found a Cupra on Instagram (@cupra_k2x) which has the exact same JR30’s with ET40 and the same tyres.

I have asked him if his Cupra is lowered since I’m not sure giving the fact the ET is lower, so the gap on the arches may be filled up better. Hopefully he answers.
