You will have had to remove your washer bottle and maybe carbon canister to fit this

Cut tthe two wires to the existing pump and crimp some connectors on.

Can't you just run some silicone hose from the pmp to the tank? That's what I've done to a bottle in my scuttle panel.

Im unsure if you can run silicone off the oem pumps. but be nice if you can.

Nope.
Where the pump fits into the OEM tank there is a nipple which you can get 4mm silicone hose onto. Which in my case you can slide into an Evian sports bottle top nicely.
