New shaped/FR wing mirrors?

Does the new tear shaped wing mirrors on the mkI (MY03?) and FR fold in electronically?

I'm considering either stubbies on both sides, or the newer tear shape.

Anyone with electric folding old shaped mirrors done a swap for newer ones?

The MK 1 210 LCR 2003 later models has the tear drop folding mirrors
These are electronic
As for your other questions I'm not sure

Yes they will fit, plug & play on a pre facelift Leon.
I've got them too. They only thing is that the old type mirrors have 2 plugs and the new ones have 1 plug.

yep,

This ones a '99 Toledo,but the Leon1 is the exact same:

The original square mirror is plugged in here, with 2 plugs

The facelift teardrop mirrors have only 1 plug, but that one fits on one of the 2 plugs in the door:

You plug the mirror in this one and everything works , heating, folding, adjusting , the works:
