New ST owner

Hi everyone, I'm pleased to announce that I have just bought a Seat Exeo ST Tech.

I'm trading in my BMW 335i Coupe but as we are expecting out first child, a more practical, economical, child friendly car was needed.

Went to view the car and was very impressed as it didn't feel as underpowered as I was expecting and the build quality is really solid. The dealer is sending it to the body shop to have the front and rear bumper re-painted as there a few marks that need sorting out. So I will be dropping off the BMW and picking it up some time in the next week or two.

I don't have any plans to modify anything on it yet, but may invest in one of the diesel tuning boxes to get a bit more power out of it. I also like the look of the honeycomb grill so may have to look at doing that. Thinking about also get the windows tinted. Ok... so maybe I will make a few changes

Nice motor hope it suits you and the family well. Gutted for you trading in the 335i; infact a 335i touring is something i'd trade my Exeo for..

...But like you i have a baby so practicalities and a second mortgage, no sorry I mean nursery fees (crica 650-700/mth for 3 days/week!!!!) dictate.

Looks like an se tech, same spec as mine, would highly recommend the fan washer jets, cheap and super effective mod

Welcome, and I'd agree whole heartedly about the washer jets!

Nice motor, but I wouldn't put in a tuning box.

Welcome! Good choice with the Exeo, I have had mine since January and love it to bits!

Looks good in black on those wheels.

I'd highly recommend a tuning box - very pleased with mine on my 170.

Please no TUNING BOX !! Get a decent Re-map if your looking for power.

Fan washer jets, sounds interesting, can someone post a link?

The tuning box was just an idea, I have a burger motorsport piggy back ecu fitted to the BMW which is awesome, may have to look at a remap for the ST.

I'm not a big fan of the wheels, again coming from the 19" wheels on the BMW the ST alloys look a bit small for me.
