Ok so as title says my new head unit in not saving any of the settings after car ignition is switched off, the head unit is a maxtek and I have needed no adaptor it uses the fitted seated wiring I've read something about swaping red and yellow wires but don't see them on the wiring in the car.. Do I need to buy one of the adaptors that say they resolve this or can I do it myself?

If I can do it. Does anyone know a link to a tutorial or something as it's not something I've done before

Thanks

Happened on the headunit in my Gfs mk4 golf. Think you do as above and switch the red and yellow wires round. Atleast that's what I did on the alpine wiring harness.
