i have apex springs with standard shocks on mine, fairly stiff ride but corners very well.
not that recomended tho as it can eat shocks, although in the last year and a half ive only ever had to replace 1

whats you're budet, that would determine what you can get.

up to £100 just springs, perhaps some eibach -50mm ones
up to £180 spring and shocks set up, possibly not the best brand but still.
upwards - £+ anything from a decent spring and cup set up to fully adjustable dampning and ride height coilovers..

People favour the Phil Jackson Tuning coilovers for £200 on club polo, me included.

You can get the PJT shocks and springs 60/40 set up for £130 iirc.

because you drive a corsa :p

classic

p.s. if you can't afford coilovers then you might be able to afford second hand ones. My £550 GAZ coilovers set only set me back £110 because I've got them second hand form Ebay and I've had them for over a year now with no probs.

I've got the Phil Jackson coilovers on my girlfriends ibiza they seem very good for the money as good as my old avo's i had on my rover only they dont have damping adjustment and they are very hard in my opinion but i'm used to it now, handles very well thou.

thanks i'll check out flee bay for a few bargains

Be prepaired to wait, I've been looking for ages for a second time!

For £250 go for the Weitec setup in my opinion, know a few people who've had them on Golf's and can't fault them!

Thewre's a fell on Edition 38 who supply's & know's his stuff, his name on there is Mk1dubzter very helpful!

If you look in the for sale section there's a red mark 2 for sale with TA's on, give the fella a PM ask what he thinks!
