I’m looking forward to picking up my nice low mileage 23 Leon TSI VZ1 on this coming Tuesday, it’s an ex VW Milton Keynes registered car and appears very nicely kept. I’ve been looking through the on line owners manual, I may never fully understand the plethora of functions available and do I need many of them or what looks like a laptop in the middle of the dash? I must say on my test drive I didn’t really notice it and it didn’t impede my field of view at all. I’m sure I will come to appreciate its functionality in time. First impression is that it is an easy car to drive and seems comfortable with some serious grunt when required. I live near Hay on Wye and am 78 and have just sold our loved TVR V8S and our daily driver Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, one car will now suffice I think.

Welcome along to the forum.

I've had my '25 VZ3 for three months now and have found that the infotainment set up is quite intuitive - you might need a few weeks of adjustment to get used to it. You can always post questions in the appropriate forum sub section if you need to.

A TVR and an Alfa? You, my friend, are one mad petrol head. X

Sadly, yes I am, but getting a bit long in the tooth (the ones I have left that is). I also have several motorcycles, they are also a bit long in the tooth!

Thanks to all for the welcomes.
I’m finding the infotainment easier than I anticipate (thanks loadmaster your quite right) and not as daunting as I had feared albeit a bit slow so start up but not a problem in reality. I’ve not done many miles yet but I have enjoyed it so far and I’m getting to know my way around the controls and the gearbox. The last automatic I had was 25 or more years ago and this dsg device is a step change. I haven’t had the opportunity to explore the handling yet but it does feel well planted so I’m not expecting any dramatics.
