New to VAGCOM and couple random codes

Sup VAGCOM peeps, i bought myself a scanner thing the other day thought id give it a try but couple of the codes i cant find and TBH i dont really know what half them mean

1st up is

16486 P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circ Low Input

2nd

17704 P1296 Cooling system malfunction

Closely followed by

17705 P1297 Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose

4th

17834 P1426 Tank Vent.Valve Open

5th

17956 P1548 Boost Pressure Contr.Valve Open

6th

18010 P1602 Power Supply (B+) Terminal 30 Low Voltage


So any help with any them as i dont really have a clue tbh, i quess one could be cause of my new FMIC

If you have bought a simple VAG scan tool, and I have one to keep in the car (VCDS at home), then what you really need to search for a complete listing of VAG fault codes - these are available on the internet using simple search terms. Once you have found that you can save and/or print off a copy - that is what I did for my Gendan VAG scan tool.

Agreed, even a Google search for 'VAGCOM xxxxx' with each of those numbers gives a better description than the generic ones you have there. For example, 17704 comes back with a lot of VW posts talking about a failed temperature sensor, one of the most common reasons for temperature issues.

For 17608, try;

And 01217 is a driver side airbag igniter fault, probably a disconnection.
