new v5 owner

Hi all,

I have been following the site for some time now as I had been thinking of buying a Seat and wanted to get the low down.

Any way, picked up my car on Saturday, it’s a V plate Toledo V5 150bhp and first impression is… it is a fantastic car!!!!

Acceleration feels a lot stronger than the 8.9 secs quoted in Parkers car guide, handling is sharp and I have to say it looks good in black.

Best part is you don’t see many around, nothing worse than getting a new car and then seeing one every 10minuites.

I’ll post some pictures when I’ve had time to take some.

Any way I’m sure I’ll bend your ears in the future.

Well done. You certainly get a whole lot for your money these days. Enjoy the car. Parkers 8.9 figure is slightly optimistic compared to the 9.4 more frequently quoted for the 10v but a remap would get you towards the performance of the 20v (sub 8.5). The engine pulls strongly though and is nice and torquey for a petrol.
