Picked up a 2nd hand 25 plate VZ2 333 bhp in graphene grey - happy so far, I had a 2016 M240i before, the interior is far superior as in the info system, it is just a nicer place to sit, way more room for the kids. It does feel a little slow, but handles well.

Gave it a full detail, clay bar, light machine polish and sealed and its looking much better, still a few swirls but nothing major, I tend to give my cars a polish yearly so will go with a higher cut next year.r

A few questions:

Can you turn off the speed warning and lane assist permanently? I know it only takes a few seconds but its kinda annoying!
Can you turn off the wireless charger? It doesn't really work that well but is a good place to store my phone!

Service wise:

Oil every 12 months 10k miles
DSG - 5 years or 40k miles
Haldex - 3 years or 30k miles
Plugs every 2 years

Is the above about right?

It has a timing chain so is that every 100k miles?

Can anyone recommend a good indy that has the tech to update the online system based around the York area? I got the car from Oldham, there is a Cupra garage is York but always prfer to use a good Indy

Hi mate, congrats on your new car.

I don't believe you can turn off the Lane Assist or speed warning permanently (Yet - something is coming i believe) but are you aware you can access and turn them off quickly. Press the ADAS button on the left hand side of the wheel and the 'options' appear on the left hand side of the screen - use the right hand thumb wheel to select what you want to deactivate and press the thumb wheel to toggle off.
