Newbie Questions...

Really want a Mk 4 Ibiza for my next car but got a few question. Is there any differences between different ages of the mk4, i.e. is there a facelift model? And is an 20v turbo FR greatly cheaper to insure than a cupra? Just wondering because of my age?

Cheers, Mark :D

yes there is a facelift version of the mk4 06 onwards front bumper steering wheel controls etc

the fr is cheaper to insure then the cupra but i cant say if its massive as it depends where your getting your quote's from

You wouldn't be disappointed with an FR TDI - I've recently had mine remapped, and it's a totally different beast, and still costs me less than £650 to insure fully comp - and I'm only 20 :) Well worth trying one out!

i think a Mk4 tdi is good idea, my FR tdi was mapped to about 175bhp and 320 tourque and that was just with a panal filter to.

A cupra tdi will already come with a front mount intercooler if you are planning future mods but otherwise i think think the FR are great. insurance is always going to be a bit cheaper on the FR model too.

good hunting.
