Hi all, I'm Greg and brand new to the Forum. I have just got myself a 2009 '59 SEAT Leon MK2 (facelifted model) 1.9TDI 105bhp in candy white and I would like to get a few things done to it. I have already got some 18" gloss black SEAT Sport alloys for it and they really set it off! I have also replaced the pea-shooter, sorry exhaust, with a twin tip trim and looks 100 times better!

My first question is, can I replace the standard grille (front upper central one with SEAT badge on it) with the current facelifted FR/Cupra honeycombe grille? It looks the same sort of size and shape but will it fit as the front bumpers are a different shape.

Secondly, I'd like to get some bits wrapped in gloss black vinyl, such as the mirror caps, lowest central white section on the front bumper below the lower central grille, and the chrome grille surround (only if the FR/Cupra honeycombe doesn't fit). Does anyone know of a decent place in the West Midlands that can do this for a reasonable price?

Finally I would love to get it re-mapped ... Is it worth it?! What I mean is, should I wait until the warranty has expired? I have had a look around and probably the best re-map I can get will take it from 105bhp (pathetic for a 1.9!) to around the 140ish mark whilst keeping a good fuel economy.

Looking forward to your replies :D!

Many Thanks, Greg.

Hope you bought one for a facelift car and not a pre face lift car :)

If in doubt, there is a lad on here called David from SERE motors who can sell genuine parts at the best price combined with the best service.

Sorry to say, I think the FL Cupra/FR grill is smaller than the standard FL grill. Hope I'm wrong though.
