Hi,i recently purchased a 2003 leon cupra r 210,on way home on motorway i noticed it wouldnt boost up properly in high gears,it was very hesitant and would not pull very good at all,i noticed recently when i plant it in any of 3rd 4th 5th and 6th gear there is a loud hissing noise as though there is a boost leak, and it does not pull.replaced dv and still the same.checked pipes coming of dv and red turbo hose and cant see any damage on them and have also checked all the other pipes i could see without taking bits off other than engine cover. Is there any other place were it could be coming from that i cant see?
SECONDLY when ive drove the car for a few mile and gave it a couple of pokes in low gears you can here bubbling when bonnet lifted, not coming from expansion tank, sounds like its coming from under intercooler pipe at side of expansion tank, took off and listened and it sounds like its the top one of two hoses that are under intercooler pipe and it goes to something on back of rad that looks like a thermostat housing. The pipe gets very hot compared to the oter water hoses, anybody got any suggestions, thanks in advance

with the first one your probably rite with the boost leak i think but the second one not got a clue sorry scott:)

Recently learned that the pipe that gets boiling hot is the one that goes to the secondary water pump on back of the rad, could it be the secondary pump thats not working correctly therefor boiling the water in that pipe or is it not likely and something else has gone.when secondary water pump is buzzing after a drive you dont here the bubbling but when its not buzzing the pipe bubbles, could i be right or am i way of the mark?
