I jus found this thread and Mat (beeza gti) just asked all the questions i was thinking, keep us posted on your mods mate. I've been thinking of doing the same to my engine, but I'm still saving.

Nice of that factory to let you have a tour, I would love that well interesting

Good luck mate and I be keeping a close eye on this :)

No, compairing them with a genuine vw part the little '0's are in slighty different places, what I do know is the 'blanks' they buy in are all pre machined including the keyways barring the lobes.

dont forget the belt sprockets have marks both sides

lmao @ bill (stopwatch) i get that feeling

you would hope neuman ground them with the sproket timings in mind for their desired lift at TDC etc..

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole - recent egs have snapped and been produced with wring timing - my advice would be to buy from elsewhere, piper/kent/cat/etc

Had a newmans cam fitted in my Corrado G60 worked wonders, I recomend them.

All im saying is I had no problems with quality or function and would use them again:confused:

the older stuff (pinto/x-flow) was superb so sad to see so many issues with newer stuff
