Hi, a lot of the 20vt quater mile cars run it, do a search on the net for james hodsons mk2 golf and paul jordans 4x4 mk1 rocco to name just a few, both these lads run it in the form of a 25bhp shot(last time i saw them at pod that was) on each gear change to help countre act the lag. i'm sure you already know you get the best results from a 'wet' kit and if you want to run big shots get a progressive controller then it will put the power down better rather than just spin up. but the spec of the kit/jets size ect you need will depend on what you want to use the car for, hope that helps a bit
great help. i us the car every day so it would be somthing i can just turn on when i need it or want fun. never had it fitted or used it before so kinda new to it
mines a 100shot twisted sanity kit/purge kit with progressive controller
iv set it to come on at 10% and progresses through to 40% @end of the revs (prolly going to change to a 50shot soon due to me never useing over 40)
on my old k03 turbo the highest i ever ran it was at 10~80% on a RR (got 298bhp/309lbs on k03 with 80% nos) never had it RR's yet with nos and different turbo
make sure you plumb it all in right if your doing it yourself (id personally get someone who knows about it to install and set it up for you) iv seen 1 or 2 setup wrong now
well im only running the standard turbo and was thinking of going for a 50 shot just so that i dont go too mad and screw up my engine. but want it to be right just have no idea of places in cardiff that fit and install nos!
