I see it says in Autosport on page 37 that Chevy and SEAT have asked WTCC boss Marcello Lotti to remove Puebla from the 2007 WTCC calendar. SEAT's request to replace it with either Monterrey or Mexico City was sent by the PR and marketing team with James Puig's full knowledge. It comes after an apparently shambolic meeting in August.

Why was it so shambolic and although I am sure teams have a natural right to express their disatisfaction, do they have a right to determine where meetings are held and the calendar should be down to the WTCC heads?

Wasn't the track's potholes filled the day before?

And then the filling material came out while they were going round?

Not sure what caused huffy's shunt and subsequent air lift - was that circuit condition related?

It was pretty bad last year, with the circuit not being upto spec, and poor marshalling too, remember a few cars being shown blue overtaking flags, when in fact they were fighting for position.

Why the terrible lack of condition on the tarmac? Underfunding or is it just neglect?

It was bloody dangerous, seeing the pictures from quailifying with chunks of tarmac stuck to the wheels.
