The other day I was reversing and I noticed a noise when lifting the clutch. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I suppose it sounds like a dull pop.

I think it may doing when going forward but it is really noticeable when reversing, and pressing/lifting the clutch quickly a few times and it's obvious the noise is there.

My question is, is it normal??

Have it since the first day...I have also changed (in guarantee terms) a pair a set of clutch, and after leaving the dealer the same issue at the first second...

Probably something we must learn to live with, although terribly annoying....

Mine does this too until the car reaches its optimum temperature!

Mine does it has I change gears and lifting off the clutch I get a little Tap/Pop, but only when the engine is cold, when its warmed up it doesn't do it.

Is this normal?

I drive 08 Diesel FR

I had a problem iwht the clutch where everytime I depressed it i got a creaking noise.

Took to the dealer and repaired it - apparently this is a common fault on Leons. Although apparently it doesn't do any damage it was annoying.

I had this too, sounds like the eye of a spring moving badly up and down as the clutch is pressed.

Ofloaded a can of spray lube on it, and all is well.

Put it down to "Plastic Pedals", ..............unbeleivable

20K on and all is well.
