Thank you. It was taken in a pub car park during our first real trip away since acquiring the Formentor in July. It’s not only looking good, it’s proving a terrific all rounder. Quiet, comfortable and relaxed on the motorway, alert and responsive on the provincial A roads, and also pretty economical when not using all 306bhp. So far, this trip, the DIS says we’ve averaged nearly 38mpg over 150 miles: that’ll probably translate to around 36mpg for real when I re-fill the tank. There’s about 300 miles worth of range left and we’re about 120 miles from home so the return journey later this evening is safe.

What tyres do you have? As I wouldn't describe mine as a relaxed cruiser on a motorway. Road noise is a bit of a problem.

I think the black looks better than my red one. The so called premium red paint is a bit boring.

I'll modify that comment about quiet cruising slighlty to say it is surface-dependent. We came home yesterday evening along the A12, the section from Ipswich to the M25 junction. That's a notoriously badly-surfaced stretch (although not as bad the concrete Surrey section of the M25) and it was rather loud at times.

Yeah it's the Surrey m25 stretch that I use a fair bit, and made me think it wasn't a relaxed cruiser when I drove it.

Yep, my A4 sounds worse than my Yeti did over that stretch and the Audi is a much quieter car.

Hate that bit motorway.
