Know when you wheel spin and you only get one wheel spinning??? Well this to because of the diff within the gearbox..... when you corner the inside wheel spins quick and sometimes lights up . This is because there is no load on that wheel. With a LSD (Limited Slip Diff) it will lock both the wheels and supply them with the some power (not lossing it through wheel spin)..... improves the handling so much!
But with the
Ibiza even people say LSD it's actually a ATB (Anti Torque Baising Diff) basically the same thats on the 2002/03 Ford Focus RS..... it allows the wheel with no load to spin slightly and then locks it so both wheels and then locked. Thats why when you read
reviews about the Focus RS it says it pulls to the side a bit harshly but the a front wheel drive car with a bit of power or someone looking to get the best handling possible a lsd/atb is ideal!
Honda DC2 & 5 comes with an LSD as standard and the DC2 was classed as the best FWD car made at that time.
What crezz said is right but technical way........ trying to show he's brainy!
