This happens every time I get in the car first time in the day. The doors unlock fine with the central locking and then I try and start the car. At the first turn of the key nothing happens. If I turn it back then try again it starts up no problem. Then the rest of the day it’s fine, it start first turn every time? Anyone experienced this before or got an idea how to cure it. It’s very annoying.

Very weird one. Could be the solenoid on the starter motor, but i can't see any real reason it would work on a second attempt.

The best thing to do would be to check if you have power getting to the solenoid on the first key turn. If you have power getting there then that means it's the soleniod or the starter itself, if there is no power there then the problem lies somewhere 'upstream' of the starter.

I am going to try resetting the keyfob first as I has the battery off to charge it up the other day, even though it seems to open the doors etc fine. It’s a bloody strange one!
