Hello All,

Car is MY2014 184FR TDi

Driving home yesterday with no sign of any issues. I parked out the front of the house to drop some shopping in. The car was switched off and the key was taken with me.

I then jumped back in the car to take around to the rear to park in the garage. When I switched the ignition on, a yellow warning triange and message popped up saying "Oil Sensor: Workshop!".

So I switched off the ignition (didn't start the car) removed the key and then tried again. The same message didn't appear. But then when I switched off the car to open the garage, switching the iginition on again resulted in the same message appearing.

Any ideas what this could be?

I do have OBD11, so will try to get a fault code

Cheers

Bob

There is a combined oil level and temperature sensor in the sump.

You'll need to get it up in the air, undertray off and check the connections to this sensor. That would be my starting point.
