My engine light is on so i went for a look around my engine bay to look for split pipes but couldnt find any but found a few places with oil deposits which im not sure about. Also i took off the four plugs that are below the coil pack (dont know what they are) and two of them are wet with oil . Does anyone know what may cause this. Also can you tell me what these plugs are Cheers.
Pic (not my engine bay Got from google)

Yea had 1 person interested, but by the time i got back to him he already bought 1 lol.
Not sure if its wd40 is quite gunky. only had the car 2 months far as i know its had newish coil packs cambelt and waterpump, nothing bout injectors on recipts. there is also a lot of oil on the side of the engine next to the TIP thats what im most worried about. Hopefully get it vagcommed at derby meet next week

They might be oily due to the rocker cover leaking?

Also found oil in almost every pipe i have dissconnected ( dv pipes, TB intercooler pipes TIP ) its not gunky or a lot at all just coated in oil inside. Wipe it clean but comes back soon after driving! Is this meant to happen ??

nope.... you sure the crankcase breather pipes not split and spewing oil onto the other pipes etc....

shouldnt be much oil in the tip, or throttle body pipes. will be some evident in the intercooler piping but shouldnt be alot.

Yes When i removed the gearbox there was some oil dripping out of the lower ally intercooler pipe when i took it off but my dad said it was alright. got a pic of the TIP , looks like the oil has came from the N75

crankcase breather is the pipe that comes off the reight hand side top of the cam cover... top of the engine block.

split into two at the end.

I have lcr So crackcase breather is a bit different to yours, the pipe you describe to me seems to be the one that connects to the PCV? mushroom shape thing. There are no splits in this but is gunky inside.
