OMG Help me!!!

I am the proud owner of a Mk2 beeza cupra 2.0ltr 16v.

suddenly without prior warning, i have lost all power in 3rd gear after 3500 revs. i get more power if i shift into 4th!

What could possibly be the problem?

Maybe coil pack, or maf??

Not sure as im a diesel boy, but im sure someone will let you know soon.

What are coil packs and mafs?!?!!?

is it only in 3rd gear then?

maf is air flow meter.
coil pack is the coils for the spark plugs.
although do you have these anyway?

if its only happening in 3rd then id say its not them. any noises?

no noises! im not putting it into fifth gear!

Couldent find any coilpack(s) or a MAF on the coupe the last time I looked......

engine speed sensor methinks.

ITS HAPPENING IN 4th GEAR NOW!!!!!!!!!!

you need to check/change:

Plugs
Leads
Dizzy cap

if it feels like it's cutting out / not revving

they are breaking down under peak load. When were they last changed?
