I am currently on the verge of buying a 2010 MK2 Cupra, have no experience with these cars but test drove it and fell in love. I have always been an Ibiza driver so its a huge change for me. I have two questions if people could help. The car has full service history but is there anything i should look out for? currently makes a slight "whine" on startup.

And second is the previous owner on here, its is a red cupra traded into isacc agnew boucher road belfast, i can give the reg if someone thinks it might be their old one, would be great to get some history of it.

Thanks for any help :)

If you buy it, consider changing the PCV, diverter valve and cam follower for peace of mind.

Should have had the cambelt changed by now as well.

At the minute the deal has fell through hahaha They quoted a monthly figure with 0 deposit, then when put through their finance they have came back requesting almost 2000. Which annoyed me considering the deal was agreed as it was.

Hopefully they manage to sort it out, here is a link to the car anyway for all to admire haha

Get yourself a personal loan it'll work out cheaper !

I got £12k over 4yr @ £280 a month with Santander, iv just made the last payment :)

Thats not a bad idea, i would need them to clear the PCP on my current Ibiza FR before being able to sort that out..... Bit messy to be honest.

I think a personal loan is better too - see how you get on.
BTW, mine is up for sale now - it's a 2010 Cupra in black with 38k miles and 320bhp.
I'm not in Ireland though and it's a bit more money than you were looking to spend.
