Opinions on "REPLICA" Alloy Wheels ?

Hello,

I'm looking at changing my standard FR 18" Alloy wheels in the near future.

Anyone have any experiences with running a set of Replica Alloy wheels?

I've seen a few designs that I like, but long term, will a set of Replica wheels still look as good as new over time, like an original set of SEAT factory alloy wheels, if looked after well?
Their quality / painted finish / alloy, etc?

All opinions welcome. :D

Im looking at some replicas for my ibiza. Suppose its like anything that you get what you pay for, all depends on how well they are looked after aswell. I fancy a bit of retro!

They're normally a lot heavier than standard wheels.

...which will ultimately affect performance? Both acceleration AND cornering?? Style over performance? :think:

Well if I get a set, especially with the possibility of diamond edged/cut, would mean over the winter months, would need to keep ontop of cleaning them, to stop salt and grit from getting through, plus stone chips! All part of the fun I suppose.

At least they'll look smart on the car and stand it out from the next FR that I drive past who has the same wheels (the standard ones). :D
