hi all, my down pipe is blowing from in the flex. so i'm looking to take this oppotunity to decat it. i've seen some expensive ones and i've come across this cheap one. what do you guys think about this

i know you get what you pay for, but would there be any real difference?

Are diesel decats still legal? Thought the MoT rules had changed to prevent removal of emissions gear originally fitted by the manufacturer.

I could be wrong though - just wondering out loud as I wouldn't mind decatting my Leon.

i think the changes are for diesels fitted with a dpf, this pipe still makes it looks like a cat is present. anyway the decat pipe came and its now fitted. its seems good so far.

How is the quality of materials and fit mate? Does it match up with the original 2.25" system ok?

Looked at this a while back but went with a toyosports one which I've since butchered so currently back on standard.

it fits perfect, i'm not a welder but some of the joints did look suspect but it doesn't blow lol.

After seeing this i ordered 1 of these it just got delivered today, The welds are a bit naff but i fitted it and it does the job fits nice and the car feels so much better to drive .
